Amstrad se adelanta a Apple en el lanzamiento del primer PDA. Tiene planes ambiciosos para el equipo, como integrarlo en un teléfono normal e incluso en uno móvil, en dictáfonos, faxes inteligentes y hasta un sistema GPS. Tiene muy buenas ventas iniciales, especialmente en Francia donde los comerciales disponen de unidades de demostración en sus visitas.
